Have been looking online for weeks for a kitchen scale. Just happened to find one at target today while in Raleigh. Am so excited about this! Here's hoping it's a good match for a clay studio. And, it was only $20!
Slowly, and ever so slowly, my studio is being created.
Good things take time, I tell myself.

Stainless steel is easy to clean too. I mix my slip up in a stainless steel bowl and blend it with a hand held mixer which has stainless steel blades.
That looks like a good un Amy. It must be lovely now that your studio is coming together and taking it's time makes it even more special x
Hi Amy, I think that's what I paid for my antique one!
Those clays are Laguna's #45 and #55. I mostly use #45. It fires tan and is coarser than the #55. The #55 fires to a light buff. I find the #45 easier to throw with but that's probably just me.
It's interesting to see how the clay color changes how the glaze looks.
