I expect my kiln and wheel to arrive within the next week from Bennett Pottery. :) Then an electrician will come and wire the garage. Kiln is coming with the envirovent system too. Now onto deciding which kind of clay to buy first... hmmm! Decisions, decisions!
Can hardly wait to put my hands in clay again. It's been almost 5 months since I've been away from the wheel.

Lovely wedging table, and so nice that your Dad and you were able to make it together. I am especially fond of my wood fired kiln here, because my father helped build some of it. You mentioned in your previous post about changing to cone 6 glazes, I recently did a post about some cone 6 tests that I have done http://opopots.blogspot.com/2012/01/cone-6-glazes-bowls-tiles-and-tomato.html
There are some really good glazes on June Perry's website

Oh wow Amy. I can sense your excitement! And how lovely that your dad and you made it together.
Wishing you all the best with your venture! x
Peter- many thanks for June Perry's link. Great to hear from you! Gosh, would love to have access to a wood kiln closer. Will check out your post too about glazes. I'm reminded- it takes a village to help a potter create a studio!
Cat- Thanks for the comment. noticed you live in England. Visited there this past summer. What a beautiful country and people! Thanks for being in touch. Will check out your blog... and add it to my blog list.
