Bird Forms and More

The latest three creations. Am focusing on making lidded forms these days and each of these are just that! Forgot to take pictures of the insides of the lids.... The jar? It will be for me... Am in the process of making several canister jars.
Meanwhile, I'm using this new piece. Not the best picture, yet I like this new form. Cereal bowl? Not sure what it's called--- it's abig teabowl, really. I'll make more of these! The glazes are a spotted shino base with blue/green celadon dipped in the top half. Some of the copper in the kiln turned some of it purple.
Threw these teabowls---- This is one of my defaulf--- easiest forms to make. Sometimes it's just best to go back to what is easiest, especially when the days are full and busy.
Have looked online a bit for some ceramic bird feeder forms. Could hardly find ANY! Ended up making this one-- it's two pieces-- a jar kind of form with a lid.
Have also researched a bit online about bird houses. Found few forms. So, I ended up making this one, along with another pitcher. The bird house is two pieces- and I put small holes in the top and bottom center so a wire can run through the pieces to hang it onto a tree. Looking forward to seeing these forms finished- glazed and fired- which will help me decide whether I want to make more of the same ones.

You are making some really wonderful pieces, Amy! The lidded forms are very nice and you know that I love the birdhouse. :)

Great new work Amy, you are really branching out. I looked at your photos on FB and love your shino bowls too, beautiful results.
