This is the tallest piece I've made to date. Created it last night during class. Adrienne is really challenging me in my pottery making in so many ways. Excellent teacher, for sure! I surprised myself in making this. :) It's all so exciting!
Here she is making a casserole dish. She did LOTS of demos and as always, makes it look so easy.
She made this form in just minutes-- along with the other ones.
She made all of these in just a short time..., except for the pitcher on the left. She put a handle on that as she threw the form last week.
Look at the flanges (ridge where the lid rests) in these! Adrienne's pieces.

Adrienne can throw pots like most people breathe. It's a wonderful thing to watch.
Good for you on your tallest pot. You've come a long way in a short time. Congratulations!
Just wonderful Amy, that pot looks great. You asked me about Cuba, my next post will give you a little flavor of that.
